I am a visually focused person. I tend to notice little, often endearing quirks to peoples outfits. Learning usually comes easiest to me when I can watch and replicate the action with my hands. When one of my friends in my American Sign Language class back in high school suggested I try helping her with costumes backstage, I had no clue how immediate I would connect to my passion.

For the past eight years, I have been studying wigs, hair, and makeup. Anticipating the next fashion trend and paying homage to the historical trends in scripts has been an exciting challenge. As always, I look forward to how I will evolve with the changes as well. Being raised in South Florida and educating myself in Chicago, Illinois, I have found that I can adapt to my environments quickly.
